Indiana Fashion Week kicks off with the two-day, Project Runway style INDFW Youth Designer Challenge.
In partnership with Salvation Army, the challenge features eight (8) high school students who aspire to be a part of the fashion industry. The Twist? These students have little-to-no experience designing.
On day two,in partnership with STITCHWORKS, the selected you will visit The Creativity Lab — a pop-up garment production factory. The youth designers are partnered with mentors from the American Sewing Guild and Community Creators and given 7 hours to create their looks, which will be exhibited during the final runway show.
This opportunity is open to youth ages 11 to 17 who are either located in Indiana or are able to travel to Indiana for required dates.
Ticket sales & donations help to support Imagine IFF youth programming.
