Class is in session! Monty Matuka, founder of MELI and winner of the #INDFW21 Emerging Designer Competition, presented a luxury streetwear collection that was a contemporary twist on the traditional school prep style. Matuka used classic silhouettes — such as the classic letterman bomber jacket — while reimagining others — such as the cardigan. The collection also featured modernized businesswear including a leisure set and a cropped business suit. The show closed with an elevated take on the raincoat that paired transparent vinyl fabric with high-quality leather accents. Check out the images below to see the collection for yourself.
