Indiana Fashion Week is thrilled to kick off its festivities with the exciting two-day INDFW Youth Designer Challenge! This Project Runway-style challenge is in partnership with the Salvation Army and features eight talented young students who aspire to be a part of the fashion industry. The twist? These students have little-to-no experience designing!
The INDFW Youth Designer Challenge is a unique opportunity for youth ages 11 to 17 who are located in Indiana or able to travel to Indiana for the required dates. Participants will receive mentorship from experienced designers and have the chance to showcase their creativity and talent to a live audience.
The challenge takes place over two days and features a variety of activities, including design workshops, fittings, and photo shoots. On the final day, participants will showcase their designs on the runway in front of a panel of judges and a live audience. It's an exciting and inspiring event that showcases the potential of the next generation of fashion designers.
